Once assembled, simply position in the sun where it can absorb sunlight and heat up.

After assembly and placed somewhere sunny, sunlight enters the prism through its glass side panels

Step 1

Solar energy is absorbed by the SolarisKit solar absorbed coil causing it to heat up (reaching up to 80 degrees Celsius)

Step 2

Water (or other liquid) to be heated  is pumped through the solar collector entering the bottom inlet fitting

Step 3

As the water or liquid travels through the hot absorber pipe of the solar collector, it is gradually heated exiting the outlet fitting

Step 4

SolarisKit solar collectors are proudly designed and made in Scotland, not known for being the sunniest or warmest place in the world!

The thermal image on the left was take in Dundee Scotland in March 2023. While sunny, it it was only 4 degrees Celsius outside but you can see the absorber coil inside our solar collector was sitting at around 80 degrees Celsius. Not bad eh? This is because our unique prism is a great heat trap, reducing heat losses to the environment.
