LOWER EMISSIONS
Heating water takes a lot of energy
It’s also responsible for producing a lot of carbon emissions. A household using 180 litres of hot water per day will annually consume 2,200kWh of energy and produce over 1,000 kilograms of carbon. Heating water hurts the wallet and the planet.

Solariskit lets you harness solar energy to meet your hot water needs
SolarisKit solar collectors efficiently convert solar energy into heat, providing carbon free hot water for homes and buildings.

how it works
Watch our 60 second explainer animation below and find out how SolarisKit can provide carbon free hot water to your home and building so you can start lowering your energy costs today
Why choose solariskit?
Current solutions are unattractive
Current flat-plate and evacuated tube collectors are large and bulky and obtrusive if installed on a flat-roof or on the ground
Current solutions are prone to overheating
Solar hot water systems available on the market today, are prone to reaching excessive temperatures in sunny/warm climates
Current solutions are damaged by hard water
Hard water can result in limescale building up in current solar collectors when heated reducing performance especially with borehole water
there’s no other solution like solariskit
The SolarisKit solar collector is the world’s first flat-packed, self-assembled solar collector.
Our patented flat-packed design makes it easier than ever to ship and install your solar hot water system. Our solar collectors take around 20-30 minutes to assemble with no tools needed.
After assembly, simply place somewhere sunny (e.g. roof) where they absorb solar energy and convert to heat. The heat can then be used for a wide range of applications reducing energy costs and carbon emissions.

BENEFITS AT A GLANCE
Will never reach dangerous temperatures
The SolarisKit has been tested to European standards to never heat water above 76 degrees Celsius making it much safer to use, even in sunny/hot climates. This also reduces stress on materials improving reliability and system lifetime
suitable for hard and mineralised water
Current design solar collectors typically use metal components which can quickly form limescale when heating hard/mineralised water. The SolarisKit solar collector is made using an engineered thermoplastic providing a more robust and longer lasting solution when hard water is used.
ideal for flat-roof and ground installations
The unique prismatic design of the SolarisKit collectors offers a number of advantages including the ability to passively track the sun as it moves across the sky while also making it easy to install for flat-roof and ground installations.
Don’t let your next solar hot water system end up like this

Everything you need to start harnessing the energy from the sun
-
Solar Collector
The SolarisKit solar collector is a unique prismatic shaped solar collector which can convert solar energy directly into heat. Shipped flat-packed to reduce shipping costs and damage, our solar colelctors are assembled on site without needing any tools. Once assembled, ther are simply positioned somweher sunny (typically the roof) and connected to the rest of the system.
-
thermal storage
Like any solar hot water system, the SolarisKit solution also has an insulated hot water storage tank. The tank stores the heat collected by our solar collectors so its ready to be used when you need it. SolarisKit can provide tanks of any size with 180L, 250L, and 300L being our most common. We can provide tanks made from stainless steel or copper, depending on your needs and budget.
-
pump and control system
The SolarisKit solar hot water system includes our own solar controller which monitors the temperature of the system. When it detects the solar collectors are warmer than tank water, it switches on the pump to start collecting heat. The process is fully automatic, just plug it in, switch it on, and it takes care of the rest! Oh, it also runs of 12V DC so it consumes a tiny 15W of energy to operate (similar to an LED light bulb).
The complete solar hot water system
SolarisKit can provide the complete solar hot water solution for your project. Whether you need 50L or 2,500L of hot water day, we can design and supply the complete solution for your project.
How Much Will I save?
How much energy is saved is dependent on climate and your hot water usage. For a household consuming 180L of hot water per day, a SolarisKit solar hot water system with six solar collectors and a 250L sized storage tank will provide the following savings for four locations
Location: Cape Town, SA Annual Savings: 78%
Location: Dubai, UAE Annual Savings: 96%
Location: Phoenix, USA Annual Savings: 92%
Location: Marseille, France Annual Savings: 69%
