Solariskit wins net zero edge prize at cop26

 

We are delighted to announce SolarisKit took home the top prize of £100K at the Scottish Edge Net Zero finals held at COP26 in Glasgow! After making it to the finals, Dr Faisal Ghani, CEO and Founder of SolarisKit delivered a live pitch in a room with over 150 people with esteemed judges including Sir Tom Hunter and Alison Rose CEO of NatWest banking. All finalists were allowed 3-minutes to pitch followed by 7-minutes of Q&A from the judges. You can watch all three finalists pitch below.

Winning the Net Zero edge prize at COP26 was a huge boost for SolarisKit, providing essential funding during our scale up phase. The funds will be used to help build the team and provide working capital to support our operational activities.

Huge congratulations to the other finalists who were also awarded £50K of funding by the judges.
